Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Beacon Falls Congregational Church has\u00a0a vibrant and respected Sunday School program,\u00a0welcoming children from birth through high school to attend.\u00a0\u00a0 Parents need not be members to take advantage of this Christian education opportunity for their children.\u00a0 The Sunday School year runs from September to June and meets concurrently with our Sunday Worship Service;\u00a0parents\u00a0attend worship in our Sanctuary while the kids enjoy Sunday School in the education wing of our building.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have a staffed nursery where babies and toddlers play.\u00a0 Children in pre-school\/kindergarten through high school attend grade-level classes which usually includes Bible instruction, discussion, craft-projects and games.\u00a0 We use a variety of curricula from trusted Christian publishers including David C. Cook and Cokesbury.\u00a0 Regularly attending students receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion in grade 5 and the Rite of Confirmation in grade 9.<\/p>\n

Please know that the safety of your children while attending Sunday School is of our paramount concern.\u00a0 We take many steps to\u00a0ensure that children of all ages will be taught in as safe and secure a manner as is possible.\u00a0 Still, until you are comfortable letting your child attend, you are welcome to keep him\/her with you in the sanctuary during the worship service.\u00a0\u00a0 Also, you are welcome to accompany your child to their Sunday School class until such a time you are both comfortable with separating.\u00a0\u00a0 Your child(ren) will have ample opportunity to get to know kids of their age after service during our fellowship coffee hour which may help him\/her transition away from you during Sunday School time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
