When Forgiveness Doesn’t Make Sense” by Robert Jeffress

Forgiveness is always difficult and often illogical. But it’s the only remedy God offers to heal our hearts.
Why do we have difficulty accepting God’s unconditional forgiveness?
And why do we find it so impossible to grant that same forgiveness to others?
Dr. Robert Jeffress combines rich, biblical insights with practical, real-life situations.
Join us for our 5 week study which will effectively answer our important questions regarding this critical issue.
We will look at not only the reasons, but also the elusive “how’s” of choosing to forgive.
Free books and sign-up sheets are available at the front of our worship space.

Important Sunday School/Nursery Dates for Summer

  • Kids Sunday is June 9th: This kicks off our summer! Kids will be presented with certificates of completion for the school year, teacher awards will be given, and the children will have some fun surprises in store for our congregation!
  • Summer Church runs from June 16th – September 8th: During the summer, attendance is usually lighter so we do not staff our nursery (however, it will be available to anyone who wishes to use it during the service). We are always looking for more volunteers to help us out during the summer; please see a member of the CEC if you’re interested in helping out!
  • Rally Day is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th: Say good-bye to summer and help welcome the kids into their next Sunday school year!

Please mark your calendars & join us as we celebrate the children of our congregation!

Stay tuned for more information and check out our facebook page to stay current on our events.
