Past Adult Education / Bible Study Programs
Alpha – A practical introduction to the Christian faith. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
40 Days of Purpose – A forty-day church-wide spiritual development campaign based on Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life. The campaign includes a daily personal discipline of reading a chapter in the book, memorizing key verses for each purpose and meeting weekly for discussion and viewing a Rick Warren video. Because this Campaign answers the most basic question in life, “What on earth am I here for?,” it is an impacting discipleship tool.
Secrets of the Vine – A four-week study based on Bruce Wilkinson’s best selling book. Explore what Jesus told His best friends in a vineyard the night He was betrayed. Using the vine as an illustration, He talked about abiding in Him and bearing fruit for God. Delve more deeply into the meaning of fruitfulness and discover how God is at work in your life today.
The Bible for Busy People – A three-week Crossways International Study Program. Finally! A program which promises to quickly pump up your Bible literacy, not waste your time. This short course studies the full sweep of the biblical narrative in chronological order. See the “big picture” like never before!
Christian Fiction Book Discussion Group – A three-session “book club” on the Christian Fiction bestseller Deadline by Randy Alcorn. Much of the book focused on heaven and what the scriptures have to say about our promised afterlife.
