Below is a list of our Bible Studies, Classes and Presentations. Most of these are also posted as Events on our Facebook Page, where you can get more details and can add it to your calendar so you can get a reminder. You can also share these with friends, non-members are always welcome to join us! If no specific location is mentioned, these typically take place at the church in the fellowship hall.

Men’s Ministry

Every 2nd & 4th Thursday at 8:15pm, Location: Typically held at the parsonage, but subject to change (contact Pastor Jess for current location.)

1st meeting of the season will be on Thursday, Oct 12th at the parsonage.
WINTER STUDY 2025

“Name Above All Names” by Alistair Begg & Sinclair Ferguson

Contact: Wendy Anderson or Liza Whitehead		This is an at-home/remote study consisting of 7 lessons (Seven aspects of Christ’s incomparable character).
There will be two in-person meet ups at the church, weather permitting, on
Thursday, Jan 30th @ 6:30PM & Feb 20th @ 6:30 PM		* Books & study guides now available!

Meetup #1 will cover chapters 1-4

Meetup #2 will cover chapters 5-7, plus concluding celebration.
LENTEN STUDY 2025

‘Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross’ -edited by Nancy Guthrie

March 6th – April 10th
6:30 to 8:30 PM,
Fellowship Hall, Bring Your Own Food		25 Essays across time dealing with the Cross and the Wonder of Christ’s
Sacrifice for us.
Each essay expounds on a particular aspect of the Cross and Resurrection
and includes the appropriate
scripture passage(s).

SPRING STUDY 2025

“Saved” by Nancy Guthrie

May 1st through June 5th
6:30 to 8:30 PM,
Fellowship Hall, Bring Your Own Food		New Study on Acts.
We will look into the lives of the Apostles in the days following the resurrection and ascension of Jesus as they experienced new power from the indwelling Holy Spirit, and a new understanding of the O.T. Scriptures.

We will begin this study in 2025: the Introduction and chapters 1-8.
– We will then complete it in 2026: Chapters 9-17
FREE books, study guides, and sign-up sheets are now available at the front of our worship space.
SUMMER STUDY 2024

National Day of Prayer – Thurs, May 1 @ Noon

National Day of Prayer – Thursday, May 1st @ Noon in the Memorial Garden at the church, rear of building near the cross (will move inside to the sanctuary if it rains)

All are welcome to join us in Christian prayer, as we gather to worship God and intercede on behalf of our town, state and nation, praying for children and families, education, government, military and more.

Praise & Prayer Night – May 2nd @ 6:30 (Parsonage)

Let’s gather at the Joles house to sing songs of praise, pray together, & worship our Lord as we join each other in fellowship.? This will be a very casual gathering, feel free to invite a friend & bring a dessert for all to share. Sheet music/lyrics will be provided. ?

World Vision Special Fellowship & Prayer – Sunday, May 18th

On Sunday, May 18th, immediately following church services, join us in the fellowship hall as we gather to Pray for our World Vision Child Sponsor, Diana, and her village as well as other Missions & Ministries BFCC supports?. We will write letters, draw/color pictures, & take pictures of ourselves to share with Diana? all while enjoying some delicious foods.

All are welcome & encouraged to bring a “Food from Around the World” to share for the Potluck lunch. Check out our Sign Up Central page to signup to bring a dish or beverage to share.
