Below is a list of our Bible Studies, Classes and Presentations. Most of these are also posted as Events on our Facebook Page, where you can get more details and can add it to your calendar so you can get a reminder. You can also share these with friends, non-members are always welcome to join us! If no specific location is mentioned, these typically take place at the church in the fellowship hall.

WINTER STUDY 2025

“Name Above All Names” by Alistair Begg & Sinclair Ferguson

This is an at-home/remote study consisting of 7 lessons (Seven aspects of Christ’s incomparable character).
There will be two in-person meet ups at the church, weather permitting, on
Thursday, Jan 30th @ 6:30PM & Feb 20th @ 6:30 PM

Meetup #2 will cover chapters 5-7, plus concluding celebration.
LENTEN STUDY 2025

‘Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross’ -edited by Nancy Guthrie

25 Essays across time dealing with the Cross and the Wonder of Christ’s
Sacrifice for us.
Each essay expounds on a particular aspect of the Cross and Resurrection
and includes the appropriate
scripture passage(s).

SPRING STUDY 2025

“Saved” by Nancy Guthrie

New Study on Acts.
We will look into the lives of the Apostles in the days following the resurrection and ascension of Jesus as they experienced new power from the indwelling Holy Spirit, and a new understanding of the O.T. Scriptures.

We will begin this study in 2025: the Introduction and chapters 1-8.
– We will then complete it in 2026: Chapters 9-17

PRAY WITH US

We warmly invite you to join us each Sunday at 10AM (9 AM during the summer) for worship, prayer care, and fellowship. Prayer Care volunteers are available for one-on-one prayer after worship service in the front of our worship space (choir area) each Sunday.

Prayer Meetings take place following worship services, every 3rd Sunday. Grab some coffee & snacks then join us for about 20-30 minutes of corporate prayer up in the sanctuary.


Prayer requests may also be made at any time via one of the following methods:

Ash Wednesday – March 5th

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent – a season of repentance and renewal in preparation for the celebration of Easter. Please join us (in-person only, sorry no live-stream) on Wed. March 5th @ 7PM for a special Ash Wednesday Worship Service.

Ashes will be available. No child care will be provided but children are always welcome to attend!

Ion Bank Community Awards Program

Ion Bank’s Annual Community Awards Program allows each Ion Bank customer to vote for their favorite non-profit organization.

Beacon Falls Congregational Church will receive a donation of $25 from the Ion Bank Foundation for every vote we receive!

To vote: Visit https://cap.ionbank.com/CAP/, locate the Ion Bank Community Awards program, use the drop down box to select Beacon Falls Congregational Church from the list of non-profits. Voting will remain open until March 3, 2025.

One vote per customer, however, for accounts with multiple owners, each owner may vote. Customers with multiple accounts may only vote once. Each customer can vote for only one organization.

Lasagna Love

Need a hand with dinner? Beacon Falls families will taste & see that the Lord is good when they receive a free delicious lasagna from BFCC!   We’ll deliver this ultimate comfort food to any Beacon Falls resident for any reason. You can request a lasagna HERE.

Want to help out? We gather once per month (usually on the 2nd Tuesday evening) to lovingly prepare & freeze a LARGE batch of lasagnas. If you’d like to donate ingredients (or funds to buy the ingredients) or volunteer your time in helping us prepare or deliver, you can visit our SignUp Central page, scroll down to the “SEEKING DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS” section and look for this progam’s SignUp genius link there. You may also contact our Admin in the church office via phone or email.
